"Can
your current computer system handle "Microsoft Vista"? Microsoft
produces a Testing Tool that will determine if your system is
capable of running the newest "Vista" operating system. Download it
from the download section if you're interested in finding out if
your system is capable of handling it.
"DM-Tech again has introduced a revised Internet Firewall that is
now in place. Though we are stopping most "denial of Service", there
is a lot of other traffic that can get past. This is because many
of our users require many different types of internet traffic such
as UPD, SSL, etc. This means we have our hands tied, therefore
unable to stop things like pop-ups and viruses that flow with chat
session, etc.
As Spam mail &
virus attacks through e-mail have become more of a problem, DM-Tech
has taken the initiative to add both Spam & Virus filters snifters
and blacklisting to our e-mail service. The virus filter has been in
effect for some time now, and has stopped 90+% of the virus activity
through our e-mail service. We have added spam mail filter in hopes
to stop most, if not all spam mail, the results 'mail server
slowdown'.
